Excuse the break in our regularly scheduled programming!  With all the editorial, Vogue-worthy engagement and wedding sessions I’ve been posting lately, I decided to switch it up and show you all a beautiful, in-studio newborn session with my client Kate.

I love doing in-studio newborn sessions– it’s a chance for the new mother to feel special and pampered while getting to turn these fleeting newborn moments into memories. I love to focus on the bond between mother and child.

Newborn sessions are also great because they are truly the sweetest to photograph. Just look at his expressive eyes and tiny little expressions!
