Katie and Hampton were such a fun couple to work with! I was so glad they wanted to use an editorial wedding photographer to elevate their engagement photos; they were game for every part of the Ashley Ice Photography experience! 

One of the best parts of my job is being surrounded by love at all times. Katie and Hampton were adorable, always giggling together and just radiating genuine happiness. Hampton is SO in love with Katie, and Katie is SO in love with Hampton. Other than the photos where I had them get serious and pull out their incredible model faces, this couple were laughing and smiling throughout the entire session. Classic, engaged lovebirds! 

Of course I have to rave about Katie’s FOUR different looks she brought! I love love love when brides-to-be go all out for their engagement photos– there isn’t a better time to be extra! (Well, obviously be the most extra on your wedding day.) Out of the four different dresses Katie wore, I couldn’t even pick a favorite! Each one brought a different vibe to the session than the one before. She looked every bit a modern, editorial bride, which you all know is my bread and butter.  

Katie and Hampton are a beautiful couple; I am obsessed with how amazing they look together. I love pulling out all the stops for the couples I work with! Along with a more classic romantic vibe, we added a fine art spin with the modern bar shots and, of course, the gorgeous downtown photos. I love shooting downtown to capture the skyline and the feeling of movement; it gives any session an editorial, New York energy.
