Fedra and Comron’s Persian wedding was completely breathtaking. I have worked with them since their beautiful editorial engagement session. We were so excited to capture every moment of their stunning wedding day. 

Fedra is truly one-of-a-kind, you guys. She is a combination of old Hollywood classic style, grace, and beauty mixed with cool-girl effortlessness. Fedra was so gorgeous in all of her wedding looks, I couldn’t even begin to choose a favorite. The ceremony gown was an insane bridal moment, the sheer, floral accented dress took my breath away, and her reception dress was perfection. Amber, Kelsey, and I did our best not to be too awestruck! I LOVE when brides have multiple looks– it’s the biggest day of your life, after all. Go all out, be as extra as you possibly can! I promise you will be so happy that you did.

We had never photographed a Persian wedding before, and it was an incredible experience. The ceremony itself was intricate and captivating, with endlessly beautiful elements and traditional aspects. Four members of the bridal party held what’s called a Chuppah over Fedra and Comron, meant to symbolize unity. The Sofreh Aghd was so special. Fedra and Comron sat in front of a stunningly arranged table (the Sofreh) filled with meaningful items. The mirror is meant to signify eternity; candlesticks signify light; nuts for fertility. Finally, they each dipped their finger in a bowl of honey. It symbolizes how they will feed each other sweetness in their new lives together.

After the ceremony, everyone had an amazing time at the reception. Fedra and Comron and their guests were literally dancing until the very last song of the evening. I loved the glowsticks everyone used to dance with in the dark. The photo booth was, as always, a huge hit.
