Catherine and Nick had one of the most elegant, fine art wedding ceremonies of the last year. Amber and I had so much fun working with this incredible couple, and being a part of the best day of their lives. 

There were TONS of touching moments and sweet details all throughout the day. From the collected notes that Catherine had given Nick while they were dating, to the presence and emphasis on God and His word, everything was blessed and magical. I love traditional elements in modern, editorial weddings like this. Saving the first look until the bride is walking down the aisle is an unbelievable moment to capture. The elegance and beauty of the entire day was a dream. 

For the first time, we saw a pretzel station during cocktail hour, and what an AMAZING idea! I literally can’t believe I haven’t seen that more, so delicious. Amber and I were beyond excited to include their sweet baby pup in all the wedding festivities– seriously could not have asked for a better wedding party member! I strongly encourage any and all dogs for engagements and weddings, you all know this by now. 

My favorite part of this whole day is a toss up between the STUNNING field portraits, breathtaking post-ceremony aisle shots, and (of course) the editorial car shots. Catherine was an insanely beautiful bride- she needs to model ASAP- so photographing her was a literal dream. They were the perfect Vogue-worthy couple. A takeaway for all brides and grooms: always opt for the editorial car portraits!! You can never go wrong.
