I can’t believe it’s already the end of January- 2023 is going by FAST.  With the New Year, I wanted to get back in the swing of blogging! What a better way to start than with Amanda and Rudy’s romantic, editorial wedding!? 

Summer weddings can get dicey with the weather, but we were blessed with a truly gorgeous day. The venue was jaw-dropping; a sprawling, private North Carolina estate, complete with a stunning garden area, and beautiful scenery from every direction. 

Everything about this wedding was total perfection, you guys. From the floral arrangements to the decor, there wasn’t a single detail missed. Speaking of details, a signature of Ashley Ice Photography is our stunning detail shots. I love bringing the focus back to the smaller pieces that make a wedding truly special. We get these shots throughout the week of the wedding to make sure there’s variety to these unique images. 

Now, let’s get into the bride and groom! Amanda and Rudy are one of the most fun couples I’ve ever worked with. They were laughing and loving each other for every second of their big day, which is not something as common as it should be. Their wedding party was no different– from the images alone you can feel the joy. It’s amazing when we get to witness couples with the most incredible friends. One of my favorite moments of the day? When one of the groomsmen did a faux first look– I have NEVER seen a more shocked groom. 

Amanda’s hair and makeup were unbelievably beautiful. Shout out to that MUA for the most stunning and melt-free makeup I have ever seen. Amanda’s dress was something from a fairytale, and went so well with the venue that was right out of one. Rudy also had his own personal touches in his look, which I love to see in a groom! Together, they make an insanely GORGEOUS couple. There were so many small moments and little details that made this wedding one insanely beautiful and unique.
