Last summer I spent 2 months planning, styling, and shooting 11 styled shoots for Kansas Wedding Magazine.
The editor from KWM came up with a brilliant idea and wanted me to help her execute
A decades shoot from 1920-2020.
When planning each and every shoot I had to think of how to make each one represent its particular decade, be unique, relate to the modern world, and not be similar from the other 10 shoots it will be paired with.
This challenge was just what I needed to learn how to be more creative.
For the 1960’s I knew I wanted to do a Breakfast at Tiffany’s theme.
To modernize the iconic Breakfast at Tiffany’s movie I knew it had to be all white with touches of Tiffany Blue all around.
The dress needed to be sleek, but powerful in design.
The shoes had to have a flare that Audry Hepburn herself would purchase.
The table needed to be grand.
I needed the most luxurious venue in Kansas City.
This shoot was my all-time favorite to design, plan, and shoot.
I hope you enjoy this peek into the Breakfast at Tiffany’s wedding styled shoot.
