Katie and Steven’s editorial Kansas City wedding at The Grand Hall was one of the most intimate, family-oriented weddings I’ve ever photographed.

I’m not exaggerating when I tell you guys that there was not a eye dry in the house during the ceremony- yes, that includes me. And the speeches?? Every single person at the reception should have had their own box of Kleenex. Katie and Steven have some incredible, heartfelt people in their lives! Not that I’m surprised at all– this couple are the SWEETEST people you will ever meet, period. Literal angels on this earth, no joke.

Their precious fur baby Bentley was a wonderful addition, he looked so dapper in his mini tuxedo! Family was deeply important to Katie and Steven and they played a big role in their day. I love photographing those close bonds and intimate family moments!

Also, this wedding gave me some serious Old Hollywood glamour vibes. Katie’s dress was insanely beautiful, so well tailored, and reminded me of Grace Kelly. Miss Kelly was all about those bateau necklines! And the lace detail on the back of Katie’s dress was STUNNING. This entire wedding was a timeless, editorial masterpiece.
