Thamara and Rohit’s modern Hindu wedding at The Grand Hall in Kansas City was a wedding Amber and I are never going to forget.

Both Amber and I had an amazing time just being a part of this wedding, and being able to witness all that goes into an Indian wedding was such an experience! Thamara and Rohit are a ridiculously stunning couple, and I loved their own modern moments within tradition. The Grand Hall was literally the most perfect venue for Thamara and Rohit– it was an editorial fantasy come to life!

We were in love with Thamara’s baby blue saree. The intricate beadwork paired so well with her classic makeup and hair; she was truly a breathtaking bride. Of course, Thamara’s henna was stunning, too. It was hard to remember to take photos with our jaws dragging along the ground. And Rohit really brought out his model face– his portraits basically scream Vogue. To say that this a power couple would be the understatement of the year, and it’s only February!

I know I’m a broken record, but I can’t get over how beautiful this wedding was, you guys! We haven’t done a modern Hindu wedding like this, one that was the perfect balance of editorial while retaining tradition. Thamara and Rohit’s wedding did remind me of another beautiful multicultural wedding that was a favorite of mine! (Take favorite with a grain of salt, since literally every wedding we photograph is my favorite).
