Brianna & Jake’s elegant wedding at The Grand Hall at Power and Light was the perfect way to end the 2019 wedding season.
The day started like any other wedding day. Women giggling and laughing together. Hairspray filled the room and champagne popped to make mimosas. Brianna reminisced about the past with her ladies while she was pampered by The Posh KC.
Brianna was graced by her sisters and mom in putting on her designer gown.
We prepped her for the bridesmaid reveal with her bridesmaids as none of them saw her in her dress until that moment. The tears and happy cheers just filled the entire room.
Bri chose to share the Father-daughter first look with her brother.
There was not a dry eye in the room once her dad and brother turned around.
We up to The Beacon Tower to read love letters and to do the first look for the bride and groom before heading off to the church.
Brianna and Jake were married under the Catholic Church of Our Lady Of Sorrows in downtown Kansas City. The beautiful ceremony was full of all the Catholic traditions that make and classic bride swoon over. Once they were married they exited the church in a tassel send-off that is Pinterest worthy.
Their timeless portraits were held at Liberty Memorial and Nelson Atkin’s Museum. Brianna and her ladies had such a great time together. You cannot even tell it was windy and cold because they were keeping themselves warm with laughter and hugs. Brianna and Jake’s beloved dogs greeted us at Nelson Atkin’s Museum. The joy on Bri and Jake’s face when they saw their dogs was so heartwarming that I wish more couples brought their dogs to their wedding portraits. The dos change their entire demeanor, they were having fun but this really just sent them to the moon in back seeing those two dogs.
The Grand Hall at Power and Light has the best downtown Kansas City Skyline. It is located on the 31st floor, called The Beacon Tower. This is the same location Bri and Jake had their magical first look.
Sunset here is beyond perfect. Just check it out for yourself.
Bri and Jake did the grandest of entrances, went into their cake cutting and danced the night away with all their friends and family.
