This beautiful elopement was the first wedding of my 2020 season from having Lorelai back in December 2019. This wedding was something I was looking forward to…
The elopement was supposed to be a 12 hour day full of giggles, glitter, champagne, gorgeous downtown location, and a reception hall full of people waiting to celebrate all night long.
Then Covid-19 hit.
Then it affected all weddings happening in April, then May, now June.
This meant Kelly and Mitch’s wedding day they planned for months was no longer allowed to happen.
However, Kelly and Mitch handled it with grace. They were not going to let their first plans deter them from the wedding their relationship deserved.
They proceed forward with May 2, 2020, as their wedding date and threw the most perfect elopement ever.
They promised their love to each other in front of God, and their family in the beautiful Church of Nativity.
We all celebrated at Mitch’s childhood home with a formal dinner, cake cutting, and beautiful toasts.
I am so happy that you two pushed forward and got married on this day. But I cannot wait for August 8 to photograph everything you had planned for May 2.
Flowers: Wild Hill Flowers
Church: Church of Nativity
