We all know I love the bells and whistles, but when a couple wants to go for a stripped down studio engagement session, I’m ALL for it. Alannah and Carson wanted nothing more than their love, a contemporary studio, and timeless styling. I cannot get enough of the results!

This session reminds me of Abby and Kory’s engagement session I posted on the blog a while back. Although the styling is different, the outcome is the same– sleek, modern images to celebrate a life-long love. Alannah and Carson decided to coordinate their looks with an outfit that will NEVER go out of style: blue jeans and a black top. I love that Alannahs’s denim is a slightly lighter shade to provide some contrast. 

The most important aspect of a more toned-down session like this? Keep it playful, keep it intimate. You and your spouse-to-be should be ready to get cozy, sexy and loved up. Shouldn’t be difficult, right? It really is just like an extra special date, since you both know it marks the start of your wedding journey (after accepting the ring, of course). Alannah and Carson are so in love; to be in the studio with them was pure magic.
