Marissa and Austin had a stunning Kansas City Wedding. Hotel Kansas City has got to be one of the best venues in the city. Everything from getting ready to the ceremony and reception was just SO beautiful.  

Marissa was such a gorgeous bride, and I loved her classic fairytale gown. It was timeless yet elegant; actual perfection! All of her bridesmaids were so much fun, and we all were obsessed with the colors for their bridesmaids dresses! The soft pinks paired with deep maroons isn’t a color combo I see often, and I was OBSESSED. 

I loved the ceremony setup in the hotel; that floral arch was a masterpiece! The lighting in the room was a dream, and the atmosphere was overflowing with joy and love. Everyone had a great time at the reception;  from the tear-jerking first dances to the fantastic band, Marissa and Austin’s wedding was a perfect party. 

Fall weddings are always incredible, so Amber, Heather and I made full use of the gorgeous weather to get some breathtaking outdoor shots. The Verona Columns Park is literally magical, and I love how the photos take on this ethereal, fine art look. Also, can we all collectively fangirl over those ridiculously stunning sunset shots!? The breeze was blowing as if it were a paid actor, perfectly rustling Marissa’s gown and veil. A final sunset portrait session as newlyweds is always the right choice.
