When Ashley and Jordan said they needed a Lake Como wedding photographer for their wedding at the Villa Balbiano in Italy, I was SO excited. I knew they were going to be incredible clients, and together we’ve created endlessly stunning, Vogue-worthy engagement photos.

 I posted their other engagement session recently on the blog, which had more of a romantic, enchanted feel. For this downtown engagement session, the goal was to bring out everything editorial, fashion forward, and fierce. Clearly, Ashley understood the assignment– her looks were styled to absolute perfection! I literally could not get enough of her outfits, you guys. She brought such a chic, couture style to the session. 

Of course, Posh KC killed it with Ashley’s hair and makeup! Her look did not budge or falter once throughout the entire session. I need to know their secrets ASAP. I was in love with Ashley’s bridal headbands, too. Such a unique detail giving an extra touch of elegance. 

Ashley and Jordan were seriously gorgeous for their outdoor shots with the city behind them. Then, we headed to the bar to get some shots that are quickly becoming among my favorites to shoot. I love the vibe that sessions take on at the bar– editorial, of course, but there’s an added element of luxury I am just obsessed with. Ashley and Jordan are a couple who exude style, and this downtown engagement session is just a sliver of what their Lake Como wedding is going to be.
